Arsene Wenger and Aaron Ramsey have scooped the Premier League manager and player of the months awards for September.
Arsenal sit top of the Premier League after four straight wins in September including a 1-0 victory over rivals Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium.
Aaron Ramsey meanwhile has been in the goal scoring form of his life and bagged four Premier League goals last month.
Wenger, who now has 13 manager of the month awards to his name, also guided his side to the top of their Champions League group with a convincing win over Marseille before a sterling performance took them to a 2-0 win over Napoli earlier this month.
After their spectacular September, Arsenal dropped their first points of the season after they lost on the opening day to Aston Villa when they drew against West Brom at the Hawthorns on Sunday.
Despite missing out on the opportunity to claim top spot outright ahead of Liverpool who are also on 16 points, Wenger was happy with his side’s “special resilience” after they came back from 1-0 down to secure a point.
"It required special resilience today because they didn't give us any space and they were well organised and we needed to find something special to score," the Gunners boss said.
"I'm not pleased, because I want to win, but if you ask me if it's a fair point over the 90 minutes, I would say yes. Why? Because we were 1-0 down just before half-time and straight after half-time Anelka has the two near [chances] and that would have made it difficult."
