Antonio Conte

Football News

Former Italian international midfielder Antonio Conte, who won everything there was to win as a player, is on track to do just that as a manager.

Conte has started impressively - his managerial education started at Bari in Serie B, where he won the League title and promotion to boot.

He stayed at Bari for a couple of seasons then took the Siena job in 2010 where he again won promotion from Serie B.

The following season he found himself back on his old stamping ground after he was appointed Juventus manager, and has not looked back since.

Winning 2 Serie A League Titles back to back, as well as the resulting Supercoppa Italiana, which is the equivalent of the English Community Shield.

Conte has hit the ground running, and has also got his Juventus side playing a very 'un-Italian' style of football which is by comparison something you would find more in Spain's La Liga or even the English Premier League.

It was only a matter of weeks ago that Conte was linked with the Arsenal job which may be up for grabs next summer.
