Liverpool have seen an impressive start to this season.
With five wins in seven Premier League starts and the forming of strike force Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, which has proved most helpful in their title race bid, The Red's seem to be on to a winner.
After finishing seventh in the Premier League last season, Brendan Rodgers' side have recruited a dozen new players over the summer transfer window, including a trio of signings on deadline day itself, racking up a bill of £48 million.
But it appears Rodgers had a plan - and it's one that is clearly paying off as Liverpool climb the table.
The Reds had a brief stint at the top of the table after their 3-1 home victory over Crystal Palace on Saturday, however, previous leaders Arsenal weren't prepared to roll over just yet and reclaimed the top spot just a day later.
There's no doubt this season poses a stark contrast to 2012/13 - where the Reds had only won one of their first seven Premier League matches - and that was September's 5-2 smasher against Norwich City.
Liverpool aren't just contenders for the title this year, they are potential winners.
