LeBron James poses for video in flame-filled dungeon

Published Add your comment

Miami Heat superstar LeBron James posed shirtless in front of flames for a Miami Heat video that was posted on the franchise's official Instagram account earlier today.

28-year-old James, who joined the Heat from Eastern Conference rivals Cleveland Cavaliers in somewhat acrimonious circumstances in the summer of 2010, can be seen furiously exercising in the fiery room with large chains around his neck before flipping a rather large tire and aggressively whipping what would appear to be two rather large ropes.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist James is many people's favourite to collect a fifth NBA Most-Valuable player award this season, with his Heat side - who also boast All-Star duo Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh - aiming to achieve a historic 'three-peat' after consecutive championship wins.

The Heat, under the tutelage of talented coach Erik Spoelstra, began their preseason campaign against the Atlanta Hawks last night and come up against the Detroit Pistons next at The Palace of Auburn Hills on October 10.

Miami begin the regular season with a hotly-anticipated clash against Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls at American Airlines Arena on October 29.

Watch footage of the bizarre but weirdly engrossing video above.
