Michu makes mark in Spain training

Published Add your comment

Swansea City star Michu hasn't taken long to settle into his new surroundings with the Spain squad this week after being filmed scoring in his first training session.

The 27-year-old won his first call-up to the international side on Sunday after impressing boss Vicente del Bosque with his form at the Liberty Stadium.

Michu's 18 league goals last season came after a bargain £2million move from La Liga side Rayo Vallecano to then Premier League new-boys Swansea.

Michu has continued his good form this season with five goals in 11 appearances for Michael Laudrup's.

Swansea have been quoted this week in saying that their prize assist is now worth £30million - in a bid to prevent the Premier League big boys from bullying the Welsh side into selling the Spaniard.
