Chelsea's 21-year-old goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could sign for Barcelona, reports the Daily Star.
Courtois, currently on a season-long loan at Barca's La Liga counterparts Atlético Madrid, is reportedly being lined-up as a replacement for the outgoing Victor Valdes.
Gerardo Martino's Spanish champions know all about the Belgian international after he' established himself as one of the finest goalkeepers in La Liga during his three-season loan spell with Atlético.
Courtois has helped Atlético to success in his time at Estadio Vicente Calderon, with Diego Simeone's men lifting the Copa Del Rey, the Europa League and UEFA Super Cup during his time at the club.
Courtois arrived at Stamford Bridge from Genk in 2011 but is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea, having been sent out on loan just weeks after arriving.
However, this hasn't hindered Courtois in his rise and development as a footballer as he became the youngest ever goalkeeper to play for Belgium in November 2011 - aged just 19.
If Courtois has his heart set on dislodging Petr Cech as Chelsea's number one after this loan spell, then Barcelona could turn to Liverpool's Pepe Reina as another potential successor to Valdes.
