Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets revealed he would be happy if Pepe Reina joined the Spanish giants a replacement for goalkeeper Victor Valdes.
Valdes announced he will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the season - in eight-months time, and his decision has caused plenty of speculation about who could replace him at the Camp Nou.
The 31-year-old has spent his entire professional career with the Catalan club.
Reina, who is currently on loan from Liverpool to Serie A side Napoli, has today told Radio Catalunya that 'it would be great to return to Barcelona.'
He added: "I am very happy that my name is being mentioned, but my goal right now is to put in a good season with Napoli. In the summer we will see.
"I imagine that they will have spoken to a lot of goalkeepers and will have short-listed a number of them. We will see what happens next year and we will see what happens with Victor Valdes."
Midfielder Busquets has welcomed the potential move of his fellow countryman back to Catalonia - they know each other from their time playing together for the national side.
He told COPE Radio: "He's a great goalkeeper. If he comes it would be fine."
Meanwhile, Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has praised Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois, who is currently on loan with Atletico Madrid for a third season. He has also been named as a possible replacement.
However, rather than dwell on who could be replacing Valdes, Busquets is keen to enjoy the last few months with him on side, saying that the supporters should appreciate him before he bids farewell.
