On-loan Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has moved to play down talks linking him with Serie A giants Juventus, according to talkSPORT.
The Belgian striker, who netted 17 times for West Brom last season only to be loaned out again by Jose Mourinho to Everton, has admitted he is flattered by the speculation connecting him with the Turin club, but says there is no basis in reality when it comes to him moving away from Stamford Bridge.
Lukaku has been in potent form once again this campaign, netting four times in three games for Everton and has subsequently attracted the attention of a large number of European outfits who are hoping he is surplus to requirements at his parent club.
The 20-year-old has been linked specifically with Juventus, but has joined his agent in admitting that it's beggars belief he will be joining the Italian champions.
"I am flattered by the interest of Juventus, but I do not know where these rumours come from," the forward said.
Jose Mourinho may very well be ruing the decision to have sent Lukaku away for the season, with the likes of Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o struggling in front of goal.
