England have important World Cup qualifying games against Montenegro and Poland around the corner, but will they be able to come through unscathed.
The Three Lions are unbeaten in their group, but with four draws they are currently in the precarious position of having to beat both Montenegro and Poland to secure a World Cup place.
They showed what they had to offer in the 1-1 draw against England with players such as Steven Jovetic, who completed his multi-million pound deal from Fiorentina in the summer to Manchester City.
They also have the threat of Mirko Vucinic, who is bound to cause a threat to England's defence on the counter attack. At the back they have another Manchester City man Stefan Savic, who has learnt from the best at City and will make that back line very organised.
Montenegro will surely try and hit Hodgson's side on the counter attack at Wembley but the situation for them is similar to England's however they would probably take a draw, knowing that they will still be in a strong position.
England need an early goal to settle the nerves inside Wembley and to get the fans right behind them. This will also mean that Montenegro will need to come at England possible exposing themselves to try and get back into the game. This will be the tougher out of the two games and a win on Friday will surely be the catalyst towards sending England to Brazil.
Prediction: England 2-0 Montenegro.
Poland also got a 1-1 draw against England at the Stadiun Narodowy showing that they also possess quality to affect England.
Robert Lewandowski is their most noticeable threat up front with Obraniak supplying for him. This is a game that England would once again wish to control, keeping a lot of possession of the ball and penetrating the Polish defence.
This may come at a price however with Poland currently trailing in the group, they will also need a victory, but it will also depend on their result against Ukraine in which they also need to gain a result to leap frog them.
Poland will have gained some confidence after the Euro's in 2012 and lots of their players have been able to make an impact at their clubs and drawn attention towards themselves.
England however should be strong enough to overcome this challenge.
Prediction: England 3-1 Poland
