Manchester United are set to make a January bid for Derby County youngster Will Hughes, according to The Mail Online.
David Moyes has been monitoring the 18-year-old, who has heavily impressed in the Championship this season.
The youngster, who is part of the England U21 setup, has even been likened to Liverpool and Three Lions captain Steven Gerrard.
However, the Red Devils may face competition for his signature, as the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have all previously been linked with the starlet.
Having made over 50 appearances for his club at such a young age, he looks set for stardom and the race for his signature certainly looks to be heating up between the Premier League big-boys.
Rams boss Steve McClaren recently admitted that there will come a time that Hughes will depart the club, and Moyes will be hoping that he makes the move to Old Trafford.
