Carlos Tevez believes Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic would be ideal for Serie A, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Vidic, who is approaching his 32nd birthday, has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent weeks, with a move to Italy looking possible.
And Tevez, who played with the Serbian centre-back at the Theatre of Dreams, believes his old teammate has the perfect attributes to succeed in Serie A.
Tevez who left Manchester for Juventus in the summer would welcome Vidic to Italy.
The Argentine striker told Tuttosport: "He's very strong, a really good defender. I played with him and against him, when I moved to Manchester City. Of course he'd be very suitable for the Italian championship."
The United captain is yet to sign a new deal at Old Trafford and with the Red Devils failing to secure the player's long-term services, Juventus could well be a potential destination for the defender.
However, United boss David Moyes may still work hard to keep Vidic at the Theatre of Dreams as he looks to keep his experienced stars in and around the squad.
