Lennox Lewis says he is ready to come out of retirement to fight one of the Klitschko brothers in a multi-million pound match.

The 48-year-old met with Russian promoters during Wladamir Klitschko's successful defence of his world titles against Alexander Povetkin, and it is rumoured Lewis will return to the ring for a whopping £63million.

He was initially offered £31.5million to make the comeback, but Lewis responded by telling the Russians to double the offer.

Lewis said: “That is my price tag and it is under discussion".

Lewis is currently in London, promoting his new training academy, and is rumoured to be running in Hyde Park every day.

"I have told them I can be ready in six months and I am in provisional training," said the former heavyweight world champion.

It has been 10 years since Lennox took on Vitali Klitschko, and the Brit defeated the Russian on TKO, and now, Lewis wants to take on his brother.

"I beat Vitali so I would like to fight the other brother but we’ll see how it works out. I want to bring back the Sweet Science to heavyweight boxing."

Should the promoters pay out for his comeback, Lewis would receive the biggest pay-cheque, eclipsing the £41.2million earned by Floyd Mayweather for his fight against Canelo Alvarez last month.

Lewis will be looking to become the oldest heavyweight champion of all time if he fights next spring. That record is currently held by George Foreman, who regained the title at 48.
