Tottenham target and Porto midfielder Fernando is reportedly keen on a move to Inter Milan next season, according to Football Italia.

Spurs are just one of a host of cubs to have been linked with the Porto man over the past couple of months.

Tottenham spent big over the summer, bringing in £100 million worth of talent including the likes of Erik Lamela and Christian Erikson - but sold Gareth Bale for £85 million plus.

Premier League rivals Everton inquired about the Brazillian on transfer deadline day, with the likes of Juventus also admirers of the midfielder.

Porto president Pinto da Costa still has plans to tie Fernando to the club with a new deal.

Despite the president's efforts, it is becoming increasingly unlikely that the 26-year-old will pen his name to a new contract with his heart reportedly set on a move to Serie A.

With Sandro already playing for Spurs, Fernando would be the third brazilian in the ranks at White Hart Lane after the summer arrival of Paulinho.
