Adnan Januzaj was born in Belgium to Albanian parents and spent six years as a youth graduate at Anderlecht before signing for Manchester United in 2011.
The youngster, who is eligible to play for Turkey, Belgium and Albania as well as a host of other nations, burst onto the Premier League this season with a string of excellent performances as well as scoring his first two goals for Manchester United against Sunderland.
So it's only natural that with Januzaj playing so well, talk of his international career has arisen.
With the youngster being eligible for several countries, he has a big decision to make in the near future. So who should he choose?
There is no doubt in my mind that Adnan Januzaj is a player who could go on to achieve great things during his career at both club and international level, but before he can achieve anything he needs to make a decision on what country to play for.
I think that for a player of his caliber, Albania is out of the question. If he wants to go on to achieve great things at international level, Albania is not the team to do it with.
The only way he might choose Albania is the lure of being their star player or the fact that his parents were born their, but to me it seems like an unlikely choice.
The same applies for Turkey, I think a player with his ability should aim higher than a mediocre international career, no disrespect meant to Turkey and Albania.
So it seems that his only real options are England and Belgium. Belgium would be a very attractive option for him, having grown up there.
Belgium also has some of the best up and coming players and it really shows with how well they do at international level. He would fit in perfectly at Belgium due to the attractive attacking football they play, allowing him to get on the ball and influence the game.
In regards to England, the FA have recently inquired into his eligibility to play for them and he would first need to qualify through residency, which isn't far off having lived in England since 2011.
Roy Hodgson also seems keen on the idea of Januzaj playing for them, and as an England fan, it is certainly and exciting and interesting prospect.
I think that Januzaj's most likely choice will be Belgium, but I'm hoping he can be swayed by his current happiness at Manchester United to play for England.
However, whichever country he chooses to play for, I can't wait to see him playing international football in the near future.
