Derby County face an anxious wait over the groin injury sustained by their wanted man Will Hughes.
Both Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with a move for the 18-year-old who has been impressing a lot of people with his mature performances in the Championship over the past two seasons.
Hughes had to withdraw from the England under-21 squad this week after suffering the groin injury, which was a blow to manager Gareth Southgate as he will be losing one of his most technically gifted players.
The Rams youngster was set to face San Marino and Lithuania for the young Lions this week but will instead concentrate on getting himself fit in time for the Sky Bet Championship match against Watford on October 19.
"Apparently, it is something he started to feel maybe two or three weeks ago but he has been nursed through it," said Derby coach Paul Simpson, as reported by Sky Sports.
"It was obviously serious enough for the England doctors to send him back. We hope he will be fit for the next game against Watford."
The teenage starlet has already made over 50 appearances for Derby despite his young age and has shown talent enough to be scouted by Manchester United and Liverpool in the past, whilst also being linked with a dream move to Spanish giants Barcelona.
