Manchester City challenged to match by Tahiti

Published 3 Comments

International outfit Tahiti have sensationally challenged Premier League big-boys Manchester City for a match over Twitter, reports the Daily Mirror.

Tahiti currently sit in 146th place in the world, while Manchester City battle it out for the Premier League title and Champions League success.

The International side recently took part in the Confederations Cup and, despite suffering many heavy defeats, they won over many football fans as they battled against the likes of World Champions Spain.

But now, the minnows have set their sights on Manuel Pellegrini's City side. And using Twitter, they tweeted the Citizens' official account, saying: "Reply us @MCFC... Friendly or No???"

It's so far understood that the Etihad outfit are yet to reply to Tahiti, however the international outfit will live in hope that they can take on the likes of Sergio Aguero, Joe Hart and Vincent Kompany.

So, if City decided to accept the challenge of Tahiti, what do you think the resulting score would be? Comment below!
