6: Lionel Messi | Argentina

There isn't a team in the world that this man wouldn't walk into without a problem, and his natural ability to ravage defences and make the most complicated moves look laughably easy are showcased perfectly for Argentina.

The pint-sized future hall-of-famer receives considerable amounts of stick for not being as potent for his country as he is for Barcelona, but that doesn't mean they don't look for him religiously when the going gets tough.

Messi is a once in a lifetime talent and, if he can win the World Cup with Argentina, will surely cement his name being in contention for the title of the greatest footballer in history.
