Manchester United midfielder Antonio Valencia could be set for a shock switch to Turkish side Galatasaray, according to the Independent.
Italian Roberto Mancini has earmarked the winger as a key target as he looks to build a better squad at his new club.
Roberto Mancini joined Galatasaray in late September having been sacked from Manchester City following a trophyless season as United won the Premier League.
Ecuadorian Valenica has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford and even recently relinquished the famous number 7 shirt, claiming the pressure was affecting his game.
With top class talent already at his disposal - including Champions League winners Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder - Mancini is identifying experienced talent to add to his already impressive squad.
It is being reported that Galatasaray are willing to pay in the region of £12.5million for Valencia, although the Independent report that they aren't the only party interested.
David Moyes' former club Everton will be looking to use the former Wigan player as a make-weight should United attempt another bid for left-back Leighton Baines.
With Ashley Young, Nani, Wilfried Zaha, Shinji Kagawa and Danny Wellbeck all capable of playing wide it is believed Moyes would consider sacrificing Valencia to land his top target Baines.
