Leeds United are interested in signing Manchester United starlet Will Keane on loan, according to Twenty Four 7 football.

Brian McDermott recently attended a Manchester United development match where Keane scored in a 3-1 defeat against Birmingham City.

Keane, whose twin brother - Michael - also plays for Manchester United, is highly thought of at Old Trafford.

However the 20-year-old striker may be allowed to join a Championship side in the near future as he looks to get some first-team football under his belt.

England Under-21 star Keane made his competitive debut for Manchester United in December 2011 during United's 3-2 defeat against Blackburn Rovers but has not played since.

Keane's route to the first team is currently blocked by the likes of Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez - who are all ahead of that starlet in the Manchester United pecking order.

Will's brother on the other hand - who plays at centre-back - has played a handful of games for United's senior team and spent the majority of last season on loan at Leicester City.
