North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham are both interested in acquiring the services of Lazio midfielder Hernanes.

Hernanes, 28, has been in fine form for the Serie A outfit this season, scoring twice in five starts from midfield.

His impressive form has not come as no surprise either as his four year stint in Rome has brought around 32  goals in 107 appearances.

The Brazil international has impressed enough to convince Arsene Wenger and Andre Villas-Boas to consider a move.

Brazil source Tuttomercato claims that there is a plethora of European clubs interested in acquiring Hernanes' services but Arsenal and Tottenham are thought to be leading the race.

And a move to either the Emirates or White Hart Lane could be on the cards sooner rather than later as Lazio will be likely to cash in on Hernanes due to the fact that his contract expires in the summer of 2015.
