Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud stole the show in France's thrashing of Australia on Friday night in Paris with a stunning goal.
The Gunners front man struck twice as Les Bleus romped to a 6-0 win over the Socceroos at Parc des Princes, but it was his first that really got the crowd jumping.
Franck Ribery had opened the scoring inside ten minutes from the penalty spot and it was the Bayern Munich winger that provided the assist for the special goal.
His pull back found Giroud twelve yards out and backtracking, but he adjusted his body well and, despite being off balance, hit a delicate chip over goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak into the far corner.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was watching on and will have been delighted to see his only fit senior centre-forward continuing his good start to the season.
Giroud scored his second a little over ten minutes later before Yohan Cabaye and Mathieu Debuchy made it 5-0 - there was also good news for Karim Benzema who scored the sixth and final goal to end 1222 goalless miuutes played for France.
