Neymar kept up his excellent goalscoring record for Brazil by netting a classy free-kick against South Korea earlier this afternoon.

The 21-year-old stepped up for the 25-yard free-kick before sending the ball over the wall and into the back of the net on the stroke of half time.

Neymar is currently playing with great confidence. The Barcelona forward scored in last Saturday's 4-1 win over Real Valladolid and is already showing why the Catalan giants forked out £48.6m for his services from Santos this summer.

Today's strike means Neymar has now scored a magnificent 27 goals in 43 appearances for the Brazilian national team.

He was a key player in the 2014 World Cup hosts' triumphant Confederations Cup campaign earlier this summer – and is expected to be one of the most important players at next summer's World Cup finals.

Will he perform as we all expect he will in Brazil next summer? Have your say in the comments section below.
