The former Chelsea hero may be coming towards the end of his career but when he does hang up his boots he can look back on a job well done.

Drogba has helped raise the profile of African football and today his Ivory Coast side are considered one of the best on the continent.

With his club success it is easy to forget what he has managed on the international stage.

However, remarkably he isn't the most prolific African ever, that record goes to Gambia's Godfrey Chitalu.
