The relationship between a boy and his girlfriend's father can often be a strained one, but not if the father is Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti who has signed Mino Fulco- as a nutritionist, according to the Daily Mail.
Fulco, who is in a relationship with Ancelotti's daughter Katia, is now the nutritionist at the Bernabeu after Katia pressured her father into the deal.
It caused some controversy among Madrid chiefs at a time when they were working hard to secure the world record transfer of Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur.
The club were adamant that Fulco wasn't needed in an already busy fitness department, but the 54-year-old boss insisted.
It isn't the first time that the former Chelsea boss has kept things in the family; his son Davide Ancelotti was appointed to the coaching staff at the Spanish giants when his father took over from Jose Mourinho in the summer.
However, Ancelotti senior could soon be forced to call an emergency family meeting to discuss what is going wrong with Los Blancos' season so far.
They already trail both their fiercest rivals Athletico Madrid and more importantly Barcelona in La Liga after eight games, while Bale looks as though he will need surgery on his injury.
Madrid will be hoping for a return to good fortune following the international break when they take on Malaga next weekend before facing Italian giants Juventus in the Champions League.
