Vedad Ibisevic - seven goals

While not a name many will be familiar with, Ibisevic has equalled Ozil's rate of seven goals so far, with a hat-trick in Bosnia-Herzegovina's first qualifying match as Bosnia dispatched Liechtenstein 8-1.

Ibisevic's displays for Bosnia have alert the likes of Tottenham to the striker, who started his professional career in the USA for the St. Louis Strikers. Ibisevic was also close to a Premier League move in 2011, when Blackburn Rovers reportedly had a deal in place.
