Football News

Amid much fanfare, the star of Euro 2004 signed for Manchester United from Everton for £27m.

Arriving with an injury, Rooney had to wait until 27th September to make his debut at Old Trafford but didn't disappoint.

Playing in his first Champions League match, Rooney netted a sensational hat-trick in a resounding 6-2 win against Fenerbahce.

Rooney, who has now scored over 200 goals for Manchester United, had arrived at Old Trafford in spectacular fashion.
