This is the last thing Chicago Bulls fans want to hear, as Derrick Rose suffers further injury worry. But, don't worry, I am here to let you know that it does not appear to be serious.

Rose felt a little soreness in his left knee and the Chicago Tribune's K.C Johnson reported the move is more precautionary than anything.

Johnson tweeted: "Deep breath here: D.Rose out with left knee soreness. Team said it's precautionary. Gar hopefully speaking soon. Noah also out. #Bulls."

Rose himself, quoted by Johnson on his Twitter account, said: "I'm good. I could've played, but the front office made the decision to sit me out. I can't complain about that."

The Bulls took on the Washington Wizards and fortunately won without Rose and Joakim Noah. The concern about Rose's knee comes from the fact that it's the same knee in which he tore his ACL back in the 2012 NBA playoffs.

That injury cost the All-Star point guard the entire 2012-13 season. He chose to let the knee properly heal rather than return too early and risk causing more damage, which is exactly what happened to Grant Hill.

Rose spent all of last season on the bench exhausting his collection of Italian suits and keeping the fans waiting. Rose finally returned October 5 to take on the Pacers, and he didn't disappoint. He scored 13 points and got three assists in 20 minutes and did the same against the Memphis Grizzlies.

These games were encouraging signs for Rose and the fans and everything was going right until this left-knee soreness. Hopefully for the Bulls, basketball fans and all things holy, Rose will return from this with no serious injury.
