Manchester United are considering a move for Barcelona winger Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window as they look to bolster wide attacking options.
According to Sport, David Moyes has been unimpressed with the form of his wingers since succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford and is keen to make changes in when the winter window opens.
The report suggests the Manchester United manager sees the Barcelona star as the ideal addition to make up for the misfiring Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia and Nani, though he may have a job convincing the 24-year-old.
Sanchez is reportedly settled at Camp Nou and Sport claim he is likely to be unwilling to make a change, though the summer arrival of Neymar could change things as playing time has become sparser since the Brazil star's arrival.
The report claims Manchester United have given Moyes funds to make more than one significant signing to help revive what has been a stuttering start to the season and Sanchez is top of the list.
