With a lot of controversy still surrounding the Football Association's rules concerning international eligibility, we take a look at a Poland side that England could have been playing against at Wembley on Tuesday night.
Through family heritage or being born in Poland, this is a team mixing the country's finest, and those who could have chosen to represent Poland, but - for one reason or another - opted for a different international outfit.
After seeing this, Three Lions boss Roy Hodgson might like to count himself lucky, seeing as England's chances of qualifying for next summer's 2014 World Cup in Brazil have been significantly enhanced, given the quality of opponent they will actually face.
Victory will ensure England avoid a play-off by finishing top of qualifying Group H, and in doing so will book their place at next summer's finals.
Eligible Poland XI (prior to representing a different country)
Goalkeeper: Wojciech Szczesny
Right back: Lukasz Piszczek
Centre back: Laurent Koscielny
Centre back: Phil Jagielka
Left back: Felipe Luis
Right winger: Jakub Blaszczykowski
Centre midfield: Piotr Trochowski
Centre midfield: Eugen Polanski
Left winger: Lukas Podolski
Striker: Robert Lewandowski
Striker: Miroslav Klose
So if some of these players did chose to play for Poland over the country they are representing would the group still look the same?
