Belgium are one of the first sides to automatically qualify for the World Cup next summer in Rio and they have done this impressively.

They are unbeaten in the nine group games winning eight and drawing just one. While the favourites are the hosts Brazil, Spain and Germany, don't be surprised to see the Red Devils act as a real force.

Belgium are definitely one side to keep an eye on - they have the real golden generation. In their last squad, which was named for their latest qualifier against Croatia that ended 2-1 in their favour, their were eight Premier League based players, their would have been 10 if Aston Villa's Christian Benteke and Man City's Vincent Kompany had been fit.

They have a good mix of youth and experience of which only two play their football in Belgium these are defenders Laurent Ciman and Guillaume Gillet, there is a vast array of experience around Europe in various competitions which will only stand them in good stead.

So which players are the ones to watch?

They have two very capable Goalkeepers in the shape of Liverpool's Simon Mignolet and Thibaut Courtois who is currently playing his football in La Liga with Atletico Madrid and currently on loan from Chelsea.

Belgium have a solid back four, there first choice would be Toby Alderweireld, Vincent Kompany, Daniel Van Buyten and Jan Vertonghen. Axel Witsel and Steven Defour give a lot of security to the back four and are very good on the ball. Chelsea's Eden Hazard is undoubtedly Belgium's main play maker, unbelievably he is still only 22 years of age he has scored five goals in 40 caps for his country and is only going to get better.

Belgium have a lot of attacking options other than Hazard with Chelsea's Kevin De Bruyne, Everton's powerhouse Romelu Lukaku who has started this season on fire. Villa's Benteke along with Everton's Kevin Mirallas and not forgetting Napoli's pacey winger Dries Mertens.

Belgium have all the ingredients to make this a memorable World Cup for them they are the best outside bet you could make.
