The Spanish forward, who recently earned his first cap for the national side, was the subject of summer speculation and the rumours have persisted about a future move to London.
27-year-old Michu has been a revelation since his move to Swansea from Rayo Vallecano, and the forwards fine form has seen him linked to a number of Champions League clubs.
The strongest speculation came in the form of a potential move to the Emirates where Arsene Wenger is reported to be looking to add another striker to his ranks.
Wenger is believed to want to take some of the weight off of Olivier Giroud’s shoulders and it is thought Michu is one of a number of forwards he’s looking to sign in January.
However, Michu inisists he is happy at the South Wales club and has no intention of leaving Michael Laudrup’s side;
“I’m not thinking about that right now,” Michu told SkySports.
“I’m very happy at Swansea. It’s a small club, but we’re in Europe and have already won a trophy, the first in the club’s history.”
Michu made his debut for Spain against Belarus when he was selected to start by Vicente del Bosque.
