Birmingham starlet scores superb goal

With an uncertain executive board, lack of funds and an extremely average start to the season, it is fair to say that Birmingham City have endured a difficult beginning to the new campaign.

And when the chance to play Manchester United's development team came up, you could excuse the optimism of many Birmingham fans.

Birmingham coach Steve Watson oversaw the 3-1 victory of David Moyes' development side, with Darren Ambrose, Matt Green and then Demarai Gray scoring the goals for the Blues.

It was a momentous moment for young Gray who turned two United players in his own half, drove towards the United box before playing a one-two and slotting cooly home.

Watch the excellent effort by the youngster above, with thanks to 101 Great Goals and Birmingham City.
