Heather Watson has dropped to British number three in the women's rankings.
The 21-year-old has had a year to forget, and her latest defeat at the Luxembourg Open means she is now behind Laura Robson and Johanna Konta in the rankings.
Guernsey-born Watson lost to Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer on Monday, going down 6-0 5-7 6-2 - to condemn Watson to her eighth defeat in nine matches.
Watson started the year ranked 39th in the world, but she was diagnosed with glandular fever earlier in the year, leading to a decline in form.
The Brit also changed her coach in an attempt to improve, but that so far appears to have had little effect.
This defeat comes after she suffered a first-round exit at the Japan Open - where she was defending her title.
This defeat in particular has affected her rankings, as she dropped down to 133 in the world.
Meanwhile, Robson remains in the top 50 at 46, while Konta is ranked 115.
