Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway has played down reports linking the club with a loan move for Manchester United starlet Wilfried Zaha, reports Sky Sports.
Zaha, who United signed from Palace, spent the second half of last season on loan at his former club, but Holloway has quashed rumours of him rejoining the club.
The Red Devils youngster has struggled to make an impact at the Premier League champions and is yet to make a league appearance this season.
And, with Palace now in the Premier League, it was thought that Zaha could gain from top-flight football at the London outfit.
However, that now looks unlikely as, speaking to the South London Press, the Crystal Palace boss said: "David Moyes has his own issues at Manchester United, so if we were to go shouting about wanting him back on loan, I don't think we will ever get him back."
However, Holloway isn't concerned about signing Zaha as he believes he has a number of other options on the wing.
He continued by saying: "Besides, we have options [on the wings] - Jason Puncheon can play either side and in the pocket as well as in central midfield. Yannick Bolasie is coming back and will do well. It is all about having a squad that is strong enough to make changes and sustain good performances.
"At the moment, we are not beating people. [Jimmy] Kebe might have the chance to do that. And we know Jerome Thomas can."
Palace have struggled so far in this campaign and currently sit second from bottom with just one win in their opening seven games.
