Football can be a cruel game.

Especially for managers.

Already this season, there have been seven managerial casualties in the Premier and Football League, with two coming at the weekend.

Martin Allen at Gillingham and Kevin Blackwell at Bury were both relieved of their duties this week.

But how many times have you said "stupid decision to sack him', or "He needed more time' ?

Unfortunately in football, time is a luxury that more and more managers don't have.

With an increasing number of clubs being taken over by foreign owners, especially in the Premier League, instant success is a must to satisfy their expectations.
