Yossi Benayoun to Arsenal - 2011

Football News

Arsene Wenger signed Benayoun on the final day of the August 2011 transfer window on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

Benayoun moved to the Gunners along with Mikel Arteta as Arsene Wenger looked to replace the recently departed Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.

Arteta has proven that he is capable of playing for a club of Arsenal's stature but Benayoun did not really make a big impression at the Gunners.

Benayoun, 33, joined West Ham on loan last season before returning to parent side Chelsea, who released the Israeli midfielder in the summer.
