Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is already weighing up targets for the January transfer window - and he has his eye on three top players.

According to The Metro, Villas-Boas is considering a £15m move for PSG star Ezequiel Lavezzi. The Argentinian has fallen out of favour at the Parc des Princes this season, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and new signing Edinson Cavani preferred.

He wants first-team football, and Spurs are reportedly at the front of the queue to sign him when the winter window opens.

But he's not the only player under consideration - the report claims CSKA Moscow playmaker Keisuke Honda and Internacional striker Leandro Damiao are also targets.

Lavezzi is the priority - he's a proven Champions League calibre player, and his versatility allows him to operate across the forward line.

But Villas-Boas is expected to be active in the January window, and Honda and Damiao could also arrive at White Hart Lane.

Brazil international Damiao has been a long-term target for Spurs, and has been identified as a potential replacement for the out-of-favour Emmanuel Adebayor.

As for Honda, the talented Japanese playmaker will be available on a free transfer in January as his CSKA Moscow expires on December 31. But Spurs could face a battle with AC Milan for his signature.
