2. Tony Adams and Steve Bould

Arsenal enjoyed success during the 1990s, thanks a lot to a similar defensive lineup.

The famous back four consisted of Tony Adams, Steve Bould, Lee Dixon and Nigel Winterburn, and they would play together for a number of years.

But arguably the defensive duo's finest hour was during the 1997/98 season, where Arsenal won the double.

In a historic Premier League season, Arsenal were 11 points behind Manchester United in the League, but a stunning finish saw the Gunners snatch the title.

They had conceded just 10 goals at home - a fine partnership in a memorable era for Arsenal.
