AC Milan star Stephan El Shaarawy is set to end his time on the sidelines and return for his Serie A club.
The 20-year-old Italy forward suffered a micro-fracture in his left foot last month and has missed several matches for both his club side and national team.
But he is set to return next month, and has earmarked the Champions League match against Spanish giants Barcelona on November 6.
"Next week I will undergo a scan on my foot," El Shaarawy told the club's official website.
"I don't think I will return to play until the return leg of the Champions League against Barcelona.
"I'm not used to being on the sidelines a lot but I'm recovering and I'm on the right path. I hope I can return to play as soon as possible."
The starlet, who has already won 10 caps for his country, signed for Milan from Genoa in 2011 and has established himself as a vital part of the squad.
Despite the news on his return, the youngster is set to miss the league games against Parma, Lazio and Fiorentina as well as the home European tie against Barcelona.
Milan host Udinese at the San Siro on Saturday, and will have their fans present after the initial decision to impose a one match ban on the club for crowd trouble was overturned.
