Tottenham have been handed a major injury boost as winger Aaron Lennon looks set to return to action against Aston Villa on Sunday, reports talkSPORT.
The English international, who has only appeared once for the north London outfit this season, will have to battle with in-form star Andros Townsend for a place in the side.
However the return of Lennon acts as a timely boost for Andre Villas-Boas' side after they were beaten in their last Premier League outing at home to West Ham.
And now Lennon will be hoping to force his way into the squad at Villa Park this weekend.
Spurs ran out comfortable winners the last time they travelled to Villa in the Capital One Cup last month.
Two goals from Jermain Defoe and one a piece from Paulinho and Nacer Chadli sealed the 4-0 victory and Villas-Boas will be hoping for a similar result on Sunday.
