Recent reports have suggested that Turkish outfit Galatasaray are ready to exchange playmaker Wesley Sneijder for Manchester United's winger Nani.
The Dutch ace has long been rumoured with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea one of the most recent reported destinations.
And now, with United linked once again with his services - this time in a part exchange deal with Nani - David Moyes may well have a decision to make.
It can certainly be argued that United need a Sneijder-type player in their midfield, however the Red Devils boss should not be tempted with letting his Portuguese star depart the club, even if it would mean the signing of Sneijder.
Sneijder has been a fine player and would certainly make an impact should he arrive at Old Trafford. Signing the 29-year-old would also represent the marquee signing many United fans have been waiting for under their new manager.
And they would only be losing a player who, in six years at Old Trafford has certainly been hit-and-miss.
However, Moyes must keep the faith with Nani.
He's full of talent, pace and can find the net from near enough anywhere. On his day, he's a world beater and a match winner. Moyes just needs to make the Portuguese star his No.1 winger at the Theatre of Dreams.
Then perhaps playing week-in, week-out, Nani will will finally live up to his great potential.
Remember Nani is only 26, he's yet to reach his peak. Sneijder - on the other hand - has reached his and will only be going down-hill from here.
So handing Nani to Roberto Mancini and bringing in Sneijder should not be an option.
But Moyes must still address the midfield issue at United.
The Marouane Fellaini signing has yet to take-off, but it's certainly early days. Then there's Anderson, who time-and-time again has failed when given the opportunity. Darren Fletcher looks set to return from his long spell on the sidelines, but will he ever be the same again?
Then there's Michael Carrick - who has held the middle of the park together in recent years - but even he is now entering the latter stages of his career.
The Red Devils need to find a young energetic playmaker, more in the shape of someone like Jack Wilshere.
Moyes clearly wanted Cesc Fabregas in the summer, but now he must go in search of a more realistic target to slot into a midfield that also contains Nani.
