Michael Jordan is the man most NBA players would pick to take a shot with the clock ticking down, according to a poll, while Kobe Bryant was rated as a distant second.
ESPN The Magazine asked 26 current league players their views on a variety of topics, including who they would back to make the shot with a game on the line, and Jordan was picked as the unanimous favourite.
The Chicago Bulls legend polled an impressive 88 percent of the votes cast to demonstrate the high regard he continues to be held in amongst both fans and pros.
Bryant was the only other player to receive a vote, taking the remaining 12 percent, meaning there was no support for the NBA's current most high-profile name, LeBron James.
The Miami Heat superstar was, somewhat surprisingly, completely overlooked given his exploits in recent seasons, although almost a quarter of those questioned believe James is destined to become the game's ultimate legend.
When asked if James would end his career as the greatest player the NBA has ever seen, 23 percent voted in favour of the assertion.
