Manchester City right-back Micah Richards has been attracting interest from Serie A leaders Roma, according to The Mirror.
The former England international rose through the academy at the Etihad to become a key figure for the Citizens, but has struggled to dislodge the impressive Pablo Zabaleta following an unfortunate string of injuries.
This has led to questions marks about the 24-year-old's future, which has intensified as Richards failed to agree a new contract with City despite opening talks over the summer.
Although Richards has often refuted claims he is looking to leave City, Roma coach Rudi Garcia is said to be a huge admirer of the powerhouse full-back, and could hand the Englishman the opportunity to reignite his career and challenge for a place in England's World Cup squad.
City would be willing to sell should the right offer be made - however, they will face stiff competition from the likes of Newcastle United, who are also rumoured to be interested.
