Arsenal have been provided a significant boost prior to their weekend encounter with Norwich after it was confirmed that Mesut Özil will be fit for the visit of Chris Hughton's side.
Özil had to be substituted during Germany's defeat of Sweden on Tuesday after suffering a knock to his knee, and limped from the field in some discomfort.
There were concerns the 25-year-old would be unavailable for Saturday's meeting with the Canaries, but Arsene Wenger confirmed at a press conference that Özil has a clean bill of health ahead of the clash.
Further good news arrived in the shape of Santi Cazorla and Bacary Sagna, who are also both available after overcoming injuries sustained before the international break.
"Özil, Sagna and Cazorla are all fit," Wenger told reporters on Friday morning. "Everybody else looks fit and ready."
Arsenal could find themselves in second place by the time they kick-off against Norwich, with Liverpool playing Newcastle at St James' Park in the day's early match.
Liverpool and Arsenal are level on points at the top of the table, while the latter retain a superior goal difference, but either team could be out of the top four if results go against them this weekend.
