Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has admitted that the club would have no choice but to sell Remy Cabella to Manchester United, should the English champions offer €18 million for his services.

Cabella has starred in Ligue 1 over the past year and has attracted interest from around Europe, with the Red Devils leading the chase.

And now David Moyes has been given the go ahead to target the star in January. The 23-year-old has been a valuable asset to the Ligue 1 outfit, but Nicollin has admitted that United could take the player to England.

As reported by French publication Le 10 sport, Montpellier president Louis Nicollin told reporters: "Now, if the transfer window winter Manchester gives 18 million euros, as I read it, he must go."

The attacking midfielder has played a number of times for the French U21 side and won the French title with Montpellier in 2012.

With Moyes looking to further improve his squad, the midfielder could be his first signing in January, if United are prepared to pay the fee.
