Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini told Sky Sports, it is time to kick-start their away form in the Premier League.
The City boss has seen his side win four out of four matches at the Etihad but has yet to taste victory away from home.
"If we go and see that statistics of the games we've played away, of course it must be a worry for us. It's a thing we must improve and we must work hard defensively as a team", said Pellegrini.
"Of course we are worried about that; we have one point from nine, so we need to win."
City picked up their first away point at Stoke City before defeats on the road at Cardiff and Aston Villa.
"We now play four away games in a row, so this is the best moment for us to win points, first in the Premier League against West Ham and then in the Champions League". Added Pellegrini.
The former Malaga boss hopes that his side have learned from the defeat at Aston Villa, as he prepares for the same type of test from Sam Allardyce's side.
"West Ham are a very strong team and we are aware of that". Said Pellegrini.
"I don't know what he (Sam Allardyce) will do, but maybe he will try the same as Villa did against us with nine or ten men behind the ball and try to get us on the counter attack."
"But we must prevent a lot of the unnecessary mistakes or fouls, keep our concentration and continue the way we are playing".
Manchester City are fifth in the Premier League table after seven games, three points behind leaders Arsenal and Liverpool.
