All-time top 10 best player lists come around every so often - but this one carries more weight than most.

Because it's not the opinion of just any old writer/journalist/fan, oh no, this is the view of none other than Brazilian football legend Zico.

The former-Flamengo playmaker is himself one of the greats - over 500 club goals for Flamengo in Brazil, 52 in 72 appearances for his country, and four Brazilian Championships over seven years in the 1980s.

And while he never won the World Cup with Brazil - his best was a third place finish in 1978 - Zico remains one of his country's most celebrated players. Not for nothing was he voted Brazil's third best player of the 20th century by IFFHS.

So it seems he's a fairly modest chap too, because he has not included himself on his list of the ten best players in the history of the sport.

In an interview with German newspaper Bild, the Brazil legend went through his top 10 and we've put it together for you in a slideshow here.
