Kevin Campbell - Everton

Joining the Toffees in March 1999 from Turkish side Trabzonspor, Kevin Campbell was given the unenviable task of firing the goals to keep Everton in the Premier League, and had only two months to do it.

Despite this mammoth task, Campbell's Premier League return proved to be a revelation as the former Arsenal striker struck an astounding nine goals in just eight games to become the club's top scorer that season and keep Walter Smith's men in the top-flight.

A permanent move followed, and despite a decent haul of goals in the next six seasons, his loan spell was to be the highlight of his Goodison Park career.
