Former Premier League defender punches fan

Former Arsenal defender Nelson Vivas could be in big trouble after he was caught on camera assaulting a fan on the club he currently manages.

Quilmes could only draw 1-1 at home to Atletico Rafaela on Friday evening as their Torneo Inicial campaign continued to stutter.

Fans of the Argentine club were not best pleased about the result and one of them confronted Vivas after the game - which was a mistake.

The former Inter Milan man reacted badly to the fan's input and went on the attack, though he will be regretting his actions now after being caught on camera throwing a punch.

Vivas was not exactly considered a success during his time at Arsenal, making only a handful of starts after being signed by Arsene Wenger in 1998, and it looks as though he isn't making much of an impression at his boyhood club Quilmes.
