Since Garreth Bale's monumental move to the Spanish capital he has only started one game due to injury, however Florentino Perez insists he is now back to full fitness.
Although Bale is riddled with talent and will probably play today, Angel Di Maria has capitalised on his absence and has been in blistering form.
Di Maria has played in 10 games this season for Real Madrid and has been very influential most of the time.
Occupying the position that Bale played in his first game for Madrid, Di Maria has been one of Madrid's best players and scored two goals for them in their Champions League fixture against FC Copenhagen.
So should Bale have to fight for his place?
Although Bale will be a regular for Real soon, dropping Di Maria would be a risk. If there are any signs of Bale's injury remaining, it would be a gamble.
Real have to win today against Malaga as currently sit in third place, five points behind both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
Although Real are expected to beat Malaga, who lost several key players this summer including Isco who has joined their opponents Real Madrid, they need to hit them with everything they have got to make sure they don't slip further away from the leaders.
Would Real be better easing Bale in and not risking his injury? Or do they need him today?
